This cruise line has two ships: Crystal
Harmony and Crystal Symphony; tonnage ranging from 49,400 to 50,000 tons. They are
classified as superliners.
Both ships carry 960 passengers ranging in ages
from 45 to 70 years old. The passengers who choose these cruises are more likely
to be owners of companies, high level executives or otherwise affluent people. They
appreciate quality with a dash of glitz and like the larger ships.
The goal
of the company is to recreate the elegance of the ships represented in "the
by gone era" of oceanliners such as the Queen Mary in her prime time. They carry
less passengers than other lines which have comparable tonnage; therefore, making
it easier for the staff to provide personalized service.
CRUISE STRENGTHS: Superior design, globe travel, luxury, personal attention by the staff, and find cuisine.
RECOMMENDED FOR: People who enjoy luxury, personalized and pampered service, stimulating personal enrichment, and varied itineraries.
HOME PORT & PORTS OF CALL:
Los Angeles, CA and other ports; BOTH SHIPS; Alternate cruising regions every year. They travel regions such as Europe, Alaska, Caribbean, Panama Canal, eastern and western Mediterranean, South America, New Zealand, Canada and Asia.
