The company has twelve ships: Carnival Destiny, Celebration, Ecstasy, Fantasy, Fascination, Festivale, Holiday, Imagination, Inspiration, Jubilee, Sensation, Tropical; with tonnage ranging from 36,674 to 100,000. Classified as superliners and megaliners.

Carries from 1,022 to 2,642 passengers ranging in ages from 3 to 93. They are married couples, singles, swingers, honeymooners, with or without kids, and senior citizens. It is a cruise for the "young at heart" regardless of the age who enjoys the up-beat "party" atmosphere. The decor is glitzy, with hot colored neon lighted atriums and lounges. They have some of the biggest cabins in the cruise industry. They provide numerous shipboard activities and top flight floor shows. The best one word description for these ships are: "Awesome!"

The goal of the company is to provide high-spirited and entertaining cruises for all age groups. Although, through some of their advertisements, have created an image of being a "party" ship but actually they have activities for all ages. When they developed problems with college kids during "spring breaks," who created havoc among their ships, they made a rule stating that no one less than 21 years old can travel alone. They must be accompanied by an adult 25 years of age or older.
