The line is comprised of seven small ships:
Glacier Seas, Sheltered Seas, Spirit of Alaska, Spirit of Columbia, Spirit of Discovery,
Spirit of Glacier Bay, Spirit of '98. Tonnage runs from 90 to 96 tons. Classified
as small ships.
Carries 85 to 101 passengers ranging from ages 40 - 80's.
They are usually outgoing, friendly, college educated, physically active, well traveled,
more interested in being intellectually stimulated by things of nature, history and
ecology rather than being involved in nightlife entertainment.
The company's
goal is to provide enriching up-close experiences with nature while respecting the
wildlife encountered. Due to their small size, the vessels can negotiate smaller
waterways and marinas which is inaccessible to the larger vessels.

Ten night cruises in spring and fall with added cruising in maze of islands of the
Inside Passage plus Prince of Wales Island. Mid-September, cruises six RT voyages
through the Columbia and Snake rivers and all the way to the Idaho border.
Seattle; SPIRIT OF DISCOVERY; Seven night cruises (May - Sept) for
one-way voyages to Alaska; Weekly RT cruises (Sept - Oct) into lower half of the
Inside Passage such as spectacular Princess Louisa Inlet which is reachable only
by boat or a plane which can land on water.
Seattle, Sausalito; Ten night cruises to Alaska (Spring); seven day cruises
(June - Aug); seven day cruises (Sept -Dec; Mar - Apr) from Sausalito via the Sacramento
River Delta to Stockton, Gold Rush Country, Old Sacramento and then the Napa River
to the wine country.
Portland; SPIRIT OF COLUMBIA; Cruises (Spring to late November)
weekly 1,000 miles on rivers which take them to the twin cities of Clarkston, WA
and Lewiston, Idaho.
Seattle; SPIRIT OF GLACIER BAY; Three & four night cruises (April & Oct) from Seattle into British Columbia; ten night cruises (April) to Alaska; three & four night cruises from Juneau into Glacier Bay (May - Sept).
